SCHEDULES, PAID TIME OFF AND RECORDATION OF HOURS
It is TMCF’s aspiration to create flexible work arrangements for the entire team, albeit subject to the particular work requirements of each team member’s respective position. Flexibility is based on the premise that team members can accomplish work goals and deliverables. All work schedules should be approved by your supervisor and created with reasonable judgment for fulfilling work and personal needs. TMCF allows team members flexibility in structuring
their own work schedule. For example, if a team member needs a few hours off to get their car repaired, that team member has the flexibility to do so. However, each support team member is expected to be in the office during TMCF core working hours, unless a different work schedule or work location has been pre-arranged with his or her team and supervisor.
Each team member is responsible for meeting his or her internal and external client, program and performance requirements. Each team member is also one member of a team, and their individual productivity, as well as that of their fellow teammates, depends in whole or in part, on each team member being present and accessible. It is each team member’s responsibility to communicate his or her unavailability with his or her teammates and get the requisite approval from his or her supervisor and report the information to Human Resources, as circumstances necessitate. To allow for flexibility, TMCF offers each full-time team member paid time off.
Depending on your employment title category, your paid time off is as follows:
Chief, executive directors, vice presidents and senior vice presidents:
• 13 holidays per year
• Three personal days
• Three weeks’ vacation
All other full-time team members:
• 13 holidays per year • Three personal days • Two weeks’ vacation
At the beginning of each calendar year, each team member is offered paid time off (PTO) consistent with their job title. It is at the team member’s discretion how to use this offered benefit. Should a team member’s employment end for any reason, TMCF will review the employment law of the state where the employee is considered to generally work to determine whether the team member is eligible for receiving payment for any unused vacation or personal time,
as applicable, and will follow the applicable employment law of the team member’s work state as it relates to the payment of such accrued PTO (as applicable).
