 PAYMENT OF SALARY
Salary payment is made bi-weekly, every other Friday, for the base salary due
up to the pay date. If the normal payday falls on a TMCF-recognized holiday, paychecks will be direct-deposited one workday prior to the normally scheduled payday. Under no circumstances will TMCF make any salary advances or release any paychecks prior to the announced schedule, unless required by applicable law or approved by the president and CEO. Team members may be paid through the direct deposit of funds to either a savings or checking account. Team member paychecks are available for the individual to review electronically, unless otherwise required by applicable law or requested by a team member.
TMCF will make certain deductions from every team member’s compensation in accordance with applicable law, including deductions for applicable federal, state or local income taxes. TMCF may make other deductions as authorized or required by law or as authorized by the team member (for example, to participate in certain benefit programs). Each team member is responsible for declaring his or her own tax exemptions and team members may establish or change his or her exemptions by completing a W-4 form online via Insperity’s online portal.
TMCF’s policy prohibits improper pay deductions from compensation of team members. If any team member has questions about his or her paycheck or believes there is an error in the amount of pay or deductions, the team member should notify the human resources department as soon as possible. If TMCF determines that an improper deduction was made, the team member will be reimbursed and TMCF will work in good faith to make sure that
no improper deductions occur again. TMCF forbids retaliation against anyone for reporting any alleged improper deductions from compensation. Any complaints of retaliation, or fear of threatened retaliation, should be reported to the human resources department.
TMCF is required by law in some circumstances to recognize certain court orders, liens and wage garnishments. You will be notified if TMCF receives a notice of a pending garnishment or wage assignment.
SALARY INCREASE
TMCF is committed to supporting the professional development and growth of its team members. Salary increases are typically aligned with promotions to reflect increased responsibilities and contributions. Any salary adjustments outside of a promotional event will be considered on a case-by-case basis and require the approval of the president and CEO.
OVERTIME PAY
Depending on TMCF work needs, nonexempt team members may be scheduled to work overtime hours. Overtime compensation is paid to nonexempt team members in accordance with and at the rate required by applicable law. All overtime must be pre-approved by the nonexempt team member’s supervisor and division head. Exempt team members do not receive overtime pay under applicable law.
