  STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS:
CHAMPIONING EQUITY AND INCLUSION
TMCF creates a range of diverse opportunities for Fortune 500 companies. These partnerships result in impactful outcomes for key stakeholders, including HBCU students and institutions, and our corporate partners. Through successful, well-developed strategic planning, students who attend our member schools have greater access to scholarships, professional development, and the pathways that will guide them to desirable careers.
In 2022, we continued building alliances with corporate partners, which significantly bolstered support in achieving our organization’s mission.
BOEING
In 2022, our alliance with The Boeing Company was further strengthened with the announcement of an $8 million multi-year partnership with TMCF. New funding will bolster campus recruitment opportunities, career and boot camp immersion experiences, TMCF Leadership Institute programming and student financial awards at HBCUs through 2026. Building on a previous $6 million strategic investment from Boeing in 2018, the partnership will expand to include a new fast-track hiring program that can catapult participants into careers with the aerospace leader.
The TMCF-Boeing alliance has onboarded four Boeing scholar cohorts, with a fifth selected to launch next year, and continues to attain exceeding growth of full-time and intern hires.
HENNESSY FELLOWS
PROGRAM
Hennessy Fellows, launched in 2019, is TMCF’s first- ever HBCU graduate program. This unprecedented $10 million initiative provides need-based financial support to students while working towards a graduate degree (MBA/master’s, J.D., or Ph.D.) in an accredited, corporate-relevant HBCU graduate program. Being
a Hennessy Fellow comes with curated professional development, including an immersive boot camp, online training forums, networking with C-suite executives, one-on-one career coaching and senior executive mentorship.
In 2022, fellows were awarded $80,000 in support from the program. This was also the year of the inaugural Hennessy Fellows reunion, where current and former fellows networked and built impactful relationships.
