LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE
CONFERENCE 2022
TMCF and Wells Fargo, a founding partner, proudly hosted the annual Leadership Institute for 2022. A TMCF signature program, the Leadership Institute leverages business and government leaders’ acumen with
HBCU students’ thirst for knowledge
and professional development. Once again, Wells Fargo served as presenting sponsor for this momentous TMCF event.
Out of more than 1,000 applicants, 408
students representing 44 TMCF member-
schools attended this year’s conference
at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square.
Now in its 22nd year, the theme for this
year was Empowered State of Mind,
chosen by how it supports TMCF’s mission to empower HBCU students through scholarships, upskilling, equity programs and career opportunities.
This year’s conference concluded with students participating in a recruitment fair, with graduate program representatives and corporate and government agencies offering jobs, internships and continuing education opportunities.
