CHEVRON ENERGY INNOVATION SUMMIT 2022
TMCF teamed with Chevron again to host the second-annual Chevron Energy Innovation Summit, the overarching goal being to support students in devising innovative solutions for the energy sector.
Students participating in the Summit are given the opportunity to showcase their skills and creativity in a case competition setting.
This year’s three-day event was held in Houston. Twenty-three students, representing 13 TMCF member schools, were chosen out of nearly 100 applicants. Chevron managers were there to provide students with mentoring for the competition, including pitch instruction.
Solutions were judged based on the ability to combine design thinking integration, business modeling and pitch skills to the specific case topics. Winners received various financial support, as well as exclusive exposure to one of the world’s leading energy companies.
