 APPLE HBCU SCHOLARS PROGRAM
The Apple HBCU Scholars Program is a partnership between TMCF and Apple offered to outstanding students currently working towards their undergraduate degree, master’s, J.D. or Ph.D.
This year, we enjoyed our largest Apple HBCU
Scholars cohort to date – an impressive 54
students, exceeding the historical cohort
average by more than 50%. Selected scholars
participated in a 12-week internship at Apple
and received $15,000 in scholarship support.
During their internship, scholars were paired
with an Apple mentor for guidance and
support. Through critical hands-on training, they obtained the types of skills and experience to significantly strengthen their resumes.
Of further note, 2022 marked the second-year of the Apple Scholars Engineering and Innovation Scholarship Program. Students are nominated by faculty at their respective engineering schools, which are part of the Advancing Minorities’ Interest in Engineering (AMIE) organization. This year’s 43 selected students had the opportunity to receive a $15,000 renewable scholarship award and participate in an Apple immersive experience.
In 2022, 97 students benefited from our partnership with Apple, representing more than double the number of students participating in 2021.
  LAW STUDENT IMMERSION
The TMCF Law Student Immersion Program seeks to expose participating law students to traditional and non-traditional legal careers. Sessions feature members of the judiciary and practicing attorneys. The sessions are informal, engaging and candid conversations with panelists.

  STUDENT TESTIMONIAL
“The TMCF | Apple HBCU Scholars Program is such a necessity for emerging Black professionals. It demonstrates a large corporation’s dedication to bringing in Black talent and encourages and supports its students to continue exceeding expectations in their respective degree programs...I came out on the other side as a completely different person.”
