Dedication rewarded at Treasure Bay
BILOXI — Treasure Bay Casino and Hotel recently honored top crewmembers for the third quarter
of 2023. Nominated by their peers
and supervisors, crewmembers
are recognized for their dedication, achievements and commitment.
Rosheena Morrisette, bartender,
was named Crewmember of the
Quarter. She has been with Treasure
Bay for eight years. “Rosheena
always comes in with a positive
attitude and ready to work,” said
Atara Astra, a fellow crewmember.
“She has worked her way up from
Den server to bartender — and that
determination is a motivation to all
who know her. She strives to improve
in everything she does and keeps the rest of us on our toes. Guests love her all-day smile and she is a great person to work with. She is one of our best.”
Buffet chef Niyona Noble was named Supervisor of the Quarter. She has been with the company for 16 years. “Chef

to the cooks, she is important to each of them and important to us. She is a great leader, trainer and counselor who gives them the tools to get the job done. Even though the job gets stressful, it’s her kindness and patience that helps them be successful. Niyona gives 100% to everything she does and I’m proud to have her as part of our Treasure Bay family.”
Nominees Mo Azizi, Teri Breeland, Dylan Burleson, Nikki Edmond, Octavia Gordon, Mike Schillinger,
Robert Shaw, Lydia Stanley, Anthony Stuart, J.D. Wilson and Tracey Yarington received a cash award and Treasure Bay gift card. Morrisette and Noble each received a cash prize, engraved trophy, a day off with pay, and a reserved parking space. Both are also eligible for the Crewmember of the Year award.

to ‘Stars’ BILOXI — Beau Rivage named its

second quarter Stars of the SHOW, honoring those recognized in July and August. To be named a Star of the SHOW is to receive the highest form of property-level employee recognition at the Biloxi property.
Stars for July included Christina Diaz, beverage server; Ivy Newsome, cage; Julie Erickson, banquets server; Karlett DuBose, front desk clerk, hotel; Nick Schwartz, dealer; and Spencer Edwards, security officer.
August Stars were Analisa Andrade, bus/runner; Courtney Thompson, coordinator MGMAir; Cynthia Moore, guest room attendant; Heath Parker, casino porter; Stephen Bordelon, cook; and Tiffany Irby, bartender.
The word SHOW comes from “smile & greet” (S); “hear the guest story” (H); “own the experience” (O); and “wow the guest” (W). A committee selects the Stars of the SHOW, with the winners receiving various prizes.
