at Golden
Nugget for
third quarter
BILOXI — Golden Nugget Biloxi recently named its STAR Employees of the Month for the third quarter of 2023. The third quarter Leader of the Quarter recipients were announced, as well. Nominees from several departments were recognized at a special luncheon.
The third quarter STAR employees were Artour Cherski, table games dealer; Debon Jennings, housekeeping floor supervisor; and Antonio Kelley, security officer. And, the Leaders of
the Quarter were Shawn Van Lancker, maintenance manager; Tashebra Jones, F&B–EVS supervisor; and John Tubbs, Michael Patrick’s specialty room chef.

All winners received eight hours of
PTO, $300 cash and $100 in resort
gift credit. All are also eligible to be
named the Team Member or Leader of John the Year for 2023. Tubbs
Pearl Card Record
Imelda Pederio
At Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort, Pearl Card Leaders are those employees who provide excellent guest service and excellent internal service. Imelda Pederio, front desk agent, was the Pearl Card Leader of the Month for August and September. With her June and July wins, Pederio has been Pearl Card Leader for four months in a row. She received VIP parking for one month for each of her wins.
