 Luncheons held for Silver Slipper employees
HANCOCK COUNTY — Silver Slipper Casino Hotel employees were honored during monthly luncheons at the Blue Bayou Bar & Grill. Employees and Supervisors/ Managers of the Month winners and nominees were recognized for July, August and September.
In July, LaTonia Collins, marketing coordinator, was named front-of-house Employee of the Month, and Robert Breceda, facilities maintenance tech, was named back-of-house Employee of
the Month. Mechelle Smith, compliance officer, was named Manager of the Month.
Nominees included Russell Gilgert, facilities shift supervisor; Anthony Mayeux, table games supervisor; Susan Brewer, retail clerk; Ivory Plustache, buffet cook II; Amanda Davis, human resources assistant; and Bryan Lowrie, slot floor
person.

    Various team members lauded at IP Casino
 BILOXI — IP Casino Resort Spa recognized Team Member of the Month winners for July, August and September. Part-Time Team Members of the Quarter and Team Leaders of the Quarter were also honored. These team members were nominated by their colleagues for their outstanding service and teamwork, and for going above and beyond their daily tasks.
In July, front-of-house Team Members of the Month were Tom McGraw, massage therapist at Senses Spa & Salon; Donna Elliott, guest room attendant; and Trevor Kelley, hotel custodian, and back-of-house winners were Todd Phillips, purchasing and warehouse receiver; Michael McCoy, Jr., convention set-up lead; and Sara Williams, Boyd Rewards marketing coordinator.
Maria Moses, guest room attendant; Donald Merchant, casino custodian; and Joseph “Trey” Symmes, tien food
expeditor, were front-of-house Team Members of the Month for August. Ethan Skinner, security dispatcher; LaTasha McDonald, revenue audit clerk; and Xavier Vinson, lead kitchen helper, were back-of- house winners for August.
In September, front-of-house Team Members of the Month were Danny Owens, table games dealer; Kimberly “Kim” Lowery, casino housekeeper; and Regina Benjamin, casino housekeeper. Back-of-house winners were Nancy Hough, sales and catering coordinator; Brian Smith, thirty-two specialty lead line cook; and Destiny Rogers, banquet cook.
Sonni Riley-Heniser, hotel clerk, was named Part-time Team Member of the Third Quarter. And, Team Leaders of the Quarter were Caroline Fountain, player services supervisor; Christina Bartosik, accounting manager; and Caisus “CC” Codling, custodial supervisor.

received a certificate of recognition, award plaque and name tag, $75 in cash, three $75 gift certificates for dining, embroidered Team Member of the Month jackets, special parking privileges, and a recognition banquet. They will be entered in a Team Member of the Year drawing for a chance to visit Hawaii or Las Vegas.

August nominees included Deborah Almond, cocktail server; Chris Powell, food and beverage supervisor; Kris Avery, guest room attendant; Brooke Perrot, Player Services rep; Sue Shubert, EVS supervisor; and
Edward Thomas, buffet steward. And for September, Tammy Curet,
marketing coordinator, was front-of-house Employee of the Month. Eva Lowery, count team lead, was named back-of- house Employee of the Month. And, James Stanfield, security manager, was honored as Supervisor of the Month.
September nominees included Rachel Huynh, table games dealer; Ruth Fricke, revenue auditor; Kristi Cuthbert, revenue audit supervisor; Terri Hoffmann, table games shift manager I; Barry Lusich, valet/ bellman; and Alicia Luttrell, buffet cook II.
Nominees and winners each received gifts and prizes, including cash and gift certificates.
