Four Harlow’s
team members
honored for ‘best service’
GREENVILLE — Harlow’s Casino Resort & Spa honored team members and team leaders recently with second quarter awards.
Joseph Watkins, marketing operations coordinator, and Shalonda Holmes, lead EVS attendant, were named Second Quarter Team Members for 2023. Watkins was credited for having a winning personality with both external and internal guests, while Holmes was lauded for providing exceptional service and for her efforts in assisting Harlow’s with being the “Best of the Best” in the community for six consecutive years.
Second Quarter Team Leaders were Cynthia Lee, slot shift manager, and Carolyn Drakes, human resources business partner. Lee has been at Harlow’s for 12 years and is focused on giving the best service to guests.
With more than 25 years of casino and hospitality experience, Drakes has held many roles during her Harlow’s career, and has a keen interest in recruiting the best candidates for the company.

Aces of PENN receive awards
GULF COAST — Hollywood Casino Gulf Coast and Boomtown Casino Biloxi recently named their third quarter 2023 Aces of PENN winners. Team members are nominated in the areas of guest service, leadership, community involvement, innovation and for

beyond.

PENN first quarter
winners were Tyler
Ward, marketing
specialist; Rodrick Franklin, banquet lead; Taylor Council, support analyst; Patricia Miranda, EVS assistant shift manager; and Andy Barnes, security officer.
Winners received a trophy and AwardCo. points that could be redeemed for prizes or gift cards. The winners are also in the running for Team Member of the Year.

Best lauded at Magnolia Bluffs
NATCHEZ — Magnolia Bluffs Casino Hotel announced its August and September top employees recently.
Alexis Miller, food and beverage, was named Employee of the Month for August. Her supervisor said Miller is dependable and takes pride in what she does.
For
September,
Cursandra
Robinson, security, and Tynisha Jones, hotel, were named Employees of the Month. With the department for eight years, Robinson was cited for her customer service to
all casino guests. Jones, a hotel clerk, demonstrates dependability, responsibility and consistency in her job performance.
The employees received a gift card to Walmart, dedicated parking spot for one month and a personalized note from Magnolia Bluffs Vice President and General Manager Tim Morrissey.
