Horseshoe Tunica hosts Battle of the Bras
TUNICA RESORTS — The annual Battle of the Bras fundraiser sponsored by Horseshoe Tunica raised $64,000 for the American Cancer Society. Led by Derrick Madison, Horseshoe senior vice president and general manager, and Jim Milne, senior vice president and general manager of sister property, Isle of Capri Lula, Mid-South area celebrities, executives, and sports figures modeled bras decorated by Horseshoe team members at Horseshoe’s Bluesville.
“October is an exciting month for us as we are all dedicated and passionate about supporting the cause of the American Cancer Society,” Madison said. “Though we support the American Cancer Society throughout the
year through volunteering and donations, we are excited in
October because we have month-
long team member-led efforts
while concluding the month with
our largest fundraiser for the
ACS, the Battle of the Bras.”
Horseshoe team members decorated bras in a way that brings
a story to life related to cancer. The bras were on display in the hotel lobby
for voting and donation collection. The 15 bras that received the most donations were
the ones modeled at the fashion show event while celebrity judges made the final decision on the top three bra designs and celebrity performance.
