Beau Rivage promotes three directors in Biloxi
BILOXI — Beau Rivage promoted three directors at the Biloxi resort: Shaun Pittman to director of casino operations, Mike Mulkey to director of facilities and Shawn Roof to director of security.
Pittman began his career at Harrah’s Casino Tunica in 2004 and
has since held
management
positions at
Horseshoe Casino
and at MGM
Resorts properties
Borgata Hotel,
Casino & Spa in
Atlantic City and
National Harbor in
Maryland. In his
new role, Pittman
will implement strategy and oversee operations for slots and table games as well as support initiatives of the vice president of gaming operations.
Pittman received an MBA in Management and a Bachelor of Business Administration focused on Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services from Delta State University.
Mulkey began his career at Beau Rivage in 2005 as the assistant chief of engineering. In 2017, he was promoted to facilities manager, serving as the project manager for all in-house projects. In his new role, Mulkey will manage operational budgets, staffing plans and inventory control systems and be responsible for implementing standard procedures for operational functions of the facility with a focus on

Genna Montague has been named human resources manager at Golden Nugget Biloxi. She joins the
property with more than 12 years of experience in the hospitality and gaming industry. Montague has experience in all areas of human resources, including employee relations, training and development, and recruitment. Montague, who is relocating to the Gulf Coast from Vicksburg, also has a strong background in finance, education and healthcare fields.

career with MGM in Las Vegas. In 2021, he transferred to MGM Grand Las Vegas and The Signature, where he also worked as security shift manager.
In his new role, Roof will be responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient operation of the security department and have oversight of major event coordination, special projects, and security risk and threat analysis.
Roof attended University of Nevada, Las Vegas from 1996 to 1998 and
is currently enrolled at UNLV with the MGM College Opportunity Program, where he is set to graduate with a degree in communications studies at the end of the fall 2022 semester.

Cathy Beeding named Riverwalk Casino GM
VICKSBURG — Riverwalk Casino Hotel has named Cathy Beeding
as general manager. Beeding has more than 20 years of gaming and regulatory experience in a number
of jurisdictions, including Mississippi, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Kentucky and Louisiana.
In addition to extensive leadership roles in gaming compliance, Beeding also brings experience in hospitality management.
Prior to her appointment as general manager, Beeding was executive vice president and general counsel for Cordish Gaming and previously worked for Churchill Downs Incorporated
(CDI) as vice president, senior counsel and corporate compliance officer, responsible for overseeing
and managing compliance across all of the company’s properties and interactive verticals.
Beeding graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in Social Science Education and obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami.
