Island View workers show initiative, excellence
GULFPORT — Island View Casino Resort named several staff members as V.I.E.W. Service Achievement Certificate honorees. The V.I.E.W. (Value, Initiative, Excellence, Wow) Service Achievement program recognizes employees who offer exemplary guest service at the Gulfport resort.
Among the group of employees recently selected were Dakota Cody Adams, representative, call center; Ryan Barkum, supervisor, Players Club; Jermaine Broach, production cook; Erica Carter, cashier, Dockside Deli; Crystal Hinton, hostess, Dockside Deli; Nanette Roberts, retail
clerk; Raynard Willis, supervisor, EDR; Erin Woods, retail clerk; and Samantha Yoder, server, Dockside Deli.
Each winner received a certificate of achievement and a $65 gift certificate to be used at several Island View Casino Resort restaurants.
Aces of PENN named at Boomtown, Hollywood
GULF COAST — Hollywood Casino Gulf Coast and Boomtown Casino Biloxi recently named its fourth quarter 2024 Aces of PENN winners. Team members are nominated in the areas of guest service, leadership, community involvement, innovation and for going above and beyond.
Winners at Hollywood included Quinn Porter, Celebrity Grill; Guven Buyukpolat, EVS; Clarice Wischmann, slots; Jennifer Necaise, F&B administration; and Eddie Erskine, slots.
At Boomtown Casino, Aces of PENN winners were Barbara Williams, table games; Rebekah McKnight, count; Chary

Davis, beverage; Zayla Bolton, banquets; and Burnie Rumbley, maintenance.
Winners and their guests were invited to a celebration luncheon where winners received prizes.

Property recognition given at Beau Rivage
BILOXI — Beau Rivage named its quarterly Stars of the SHOW, honoring those recognized in October, November, and December. To be named a Star of the SHOW is to receive the highest form of property-level employee recognition at the Biloxi property.
Stars for October included Amanda Lopez, housekeeping; Brandon Mottern, IT; Dorian Cain, security; Jerry Gaddy, casino marketing; Keith Stratakos, facilities; and Lisa Wilhelm, MGMAir.

November Stars were Charity Battle, security; Desiree Holmes, front services; Amanda Lusk, banquets; Xavier Wilson, banquets; Brock Gomila, advertising; Alexis Roque, facilities; and Renato Bonilla, facilities.
And in December, Stars included Myra Scott, special events; Chris Phang, Jia; Leonard Herde, BR Prime; Margaret
Chapman, security; Kristi Grammer, warehouse; and Dawn Smoak, risk management.
Supervisors nominate employees who go above and beyond in their roles. A committee reviews nominations and selects the Stars of the SHOW, with the selected employees receiving various prizes.
