Quarterly stars recognized at Beau Rivage
BILOXI — Beau Rivage named its quarterly Stars of the SHOW, honoring those recognized in July, August and September. To
be named a Star of the SHOW is to receive the highest form of property-level employee recognition at the Biloxi property.
Stars for July included Thuy Duong, banquet F&B; Justyn Clemons, MGM Rewards; Cristy Steward, special events; Lynn Underwood, cage; Evette Tucker, Salt & Ivy; Christine Lopez, advertising; and Beth Hyde, table games.
August Stars were Chico Tran, pool; Nguyen Huynh, Fallen Oak;
Zachary Ware, Fallen Oak; ReDeshyia Cooley, Snacks; Maria Martinez, housekeeping; Wanda Lovell, EDR; Greg Caplan, front services; and Tony Collins, MGMAir.
And in September, Stars included Shelby Jacobs, advertising; Adonis Reynoso, housekeeping; LaToya Williams, workforce; Cesar Diaz, table games; Sue Therrell, finance; and Sammie Smith, pool.
Supervisors nominate employees who go above and beyond in their roles. A committee reviews nominations and selects the Stars of the SHOW, with the selected employees receiving various prizes.
IP Casino honors Team Members of the Month
BILOXI — IP Casino Resort Spa recognized Team Member of the Month winners for July and August.
In July, front-of-house Team Members of the Month were Gary Gayle, lead custodian; Doris Carter, floorperson; and Jailon Phillips, spa attendant. Back- of-house winners were Gage Thibodaux, count room attendant; Unita Bradley, rooms inventory clerk; and Margaret McCurry, HR senior specialist.
August front-of-house Team Members of the Month were Ben Evins, parking attendant; Dollia Carson, security officer; and Mark Manalo, bartender. Back- of-house winners were Meg Huston, rooms inventory clerk; Tommy Nguyen, field engineer II; and Austin McAtee, maintenance technician.
Winners received a certificate, award plaque, food certificates and a cash prize, as well as additional gifts.
