BUSINESS ETHICS AND CONDUCT
The brand and reputation of TMCF is built upon integrity and honesty. Our reputation for honesty and excellence requires careful observance of the spirit and letter of all applicable laws and regulations, as well as a scrupulous regard for the highest standards of conduct and personal integrity. The continued success of TMCF is dependent upon our member-schools’ students, donors/partners and clients’ trust, and we are dedicated to preserving that trust. Each team member owes a duty to TMCF to act in a way that will merit the continued trust and confidence of the people we serve.
TMCF will comply with all applicable laws and regulations and expects its team members to conduct business in accordance with the letter, spirit and intent of all relevant laws and to refrain from any illegal, dishonest or unethical conduct. Such conduct includes such things as falsifying documents, failing to disclose relevant information, not respecting our brand, supplying false or misleading information, giving, or receiving gifts that have the potential to negatively impact the objective exercise of judgment or violating any other TMCF policies, including those that govern confidentiality and public disclosure.
In general, the use of good judgment, based on high ethical principles, should guide team members in determining what is acceptable conduct. If a situation arises in which it is difficult for team members to determine the proper course of action, team members should discuss it with their immediate supervisor or the human resources department. Compliance with this policy of business ethics and conduct is the responsibility of every TMCF team member. Disregarding or failing to comply with this standard of business ethics and conduct could lead to disciplinary action, up to and including possible discharge.
