CITI HBCU EXPLORATION PROGRAM
This highly competitive program targets incoming first-year freshmen students in all majors. Selected participants engage in a one-year multi-faceted professional development program designed to provide insight into their strengths and talents, support with choosing majors and coursework that will strategically maximize student success and minimize time and support their retention and progression toward on-time graduation.
HONDA IMMERSION
The Honda Immersion Program is an immersive experience designed to engage students in hands-on learning, connect with industry professionals and interview for potential internships and full-time opportunities. Thirty students participated in the program.
KIEWET IMMERSION
LOWE’S RETAIL IMMERSION
The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF), in partnership with Kiewit Construction, presents an amazing opportunity for an internship in engineering, field operations, estimating and immersive experience. Kiewit offers construction and engineering services in a variety of markets, including transportation, oil, gas and chemical, power, building, water, marine, industrial and mining.
The Lowe’s Retail Immersion program offered 30 HBCU students an immersive experience in and around Charlotte, North Carolina. This program focused on students in their sophomore year and exposed them to the many opportunities at Lowe’s, which can further position them for consideration
in internship opportunities. Students network directly with Lowe’s professionals and recruitment managers, who provide interactive experiences, leaving participants with a more profound sense of the company and its various opportunities.
