If you live on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, chances are you’ve attended an event that was orchestrated by Andi Oustalet. For more than 35 years, Andi has created memorable event experiences. Her list of creations includes intimate home dinners, political receptions, lavish weddings, community festivals and fundraisers, Mardi Gras luncheons t for a queen and many more.
Andi says, “Planning events has been my passion since 1982 when
I assisted with the rst Sunbelt Conference Basketball Tournament held in Birmingham. Since then, across seven states, I have assisted, chaired or hosted events, dinners and gatherings on many levels and of all variety.”
In 2018, Andi decided to turn her event experience into a business, and The Guided Endeavor was born. Andi helps her clients create successful gatherings through direction, organization and creativity. Amid the pandemic, creativity has become even more important in her event planning.
“Social distancing is very di cult for us Southerners,” says Andi. “It goes against everything we know and love. We have to think outside of the box and nd new ways to connect.”
