name of Willow, a local girl with the disease. For the past three years, “Wiggin’ Out for Willow” has been a fun party with food, music and most importantly, people. Andi realized the importance of keeping it fun. Donned in their wigs, with special guests and giveaways, Andi helped raise thousands of dollars for MSD from her home, through social media.
While adapting for the present, Andi believes you must remain optimistic about the future. Her Witches’ Weekend events that she started in 2018 are in the planning stages. Andi says, “Right now, we’re remaining positive and continuing to plan for Witches, Warlocks & Wine on October 23 and the Witches’ Brunch on October 25. Under the umbrella of our Witches’ Weekend, we’re excited to add CASAtume on October 22. We’re being cautious and including special touches that tie into our new normal, like fun masks.”
“We will get through this,” says Andi. “Until then, stay social at your level of comfort, whether it be through Facetime, hosting a friend on your porch for a cocktail or creating a small dinner party for your close friends or family. Just be safe, be smart and be creative.”
