Who or what inspired you to pursue your current career?
Sara: I believe Gods plan is what led me to my career. Having my rst back surgery in my 30s had me terri ed that my life wasn’t going to be anything like I planned. Back surgery turned out to be much harder than I anticipated and changed my life for the better in a lot of ways. I knew I could never sit at desk for 8 hours but
I had to work, so this is where the idea for the mobile boutique came in. I had to adapt and survive because I have daughters who were watching me so I had to be strong and keep going. Luckily,
I was raised by strong, independent women so I just did what had to be done. I could not have done any of it without my daughter Elisa by my side. She is the strength and beauty in my business. I am extremely blessed to have both my girls supporting me, and an amazing husband who has been by my side since the rst day when I said I wanted to buy a bread truck to turn into a store. Five years later, we are still going strong and about to open our sister store, Carriage Consignment.

What I like best about what I do is: I love meeting new people and helping clients. My career allows me to do both. Many times, my clients become lifetime friends.
Advice I would give to young female entrepreneurs: Follow your passion and learn as much as you can about your industry and the success will come.
What’s something interesting about you that not many people know? I named my company in tribute to my father who su ered many years with heart disease. I bought an old commercial building in Ocean Springs and completely rebuilt it to become the Heart Properties o ce.
What are your favorite things to do on the Coast? I enjoy boating around the river, bayous and coastline and looking at the beautiful homes. I especially love previewing waterfront homes with clients, so they can get a di erent view of the property.
