This year, especially with all that is going on in the world, we want to highlight this strong and powerful woman who works harder than most we know.
She has run marathons, earned degrees and certi cates, worn uniforms, held titles, and at many done multiple jobs simultaneously. Now she has the most demanding and rewarding job of her life, being a full-time mom. Kikie Wright-Orrison is the supermom of ve little boys (Turner, 11; Odin, 10; Asa, 8; Marin, 5; and Groves, 1 1/2) and the cheerleader and supporter of her husband, Brad, who co-owns The Shed. Her day begins before the sun comes up and ends long after it goes down.
This job might not earn accolades of past jobs, but her daily actions and attitude are growing and shaping the future. Each lesson taught, story listened to, hug given, and injury mended is a vibration into the paths her children will take
as adults. For all parents who have stayed home (which has happened to a lot of people recently), the monotony is real! It takes true tenacity to keep it up day after day. Kikie Orrison is tenacious; she always does her best to do what is right for her family, period. We believe she survives by doing yoga, staying healthy (mind, body, and spirit) and enjoying outside family time as often as possible. She is an inspiration!
