These transportation assets are what brought the Estabrook family, who’ve been in the automobile business in Jackson County since 1951, to Moss Point. “Moss Point has a valuable location at the intersection of Interstate 10, Highway 63 and Highway 613, which are primary access points to the regional employers here,” Drew Estabrook said. “The amount of traffic at our location is amazing. It not only makes us more convenient to our customers
all over Jackson and George counties, but we now get access to customers from all over the region.”
Estabrook says the city’s proximity to rivers and the Gulf of Mexico are also important. “Being on the Coast provides such tremendous economic and recreational assets that I believe it’s a driver in quality of life here,” he said.
City leaders believe the city’s positive business environment and a growing economy ensure that Moss Point is poised for continued growth. “The city recognizes that implementing programs, policies and investment in quality
of life amenities such as parks and recreation, art and culture, and bike and pedestrian paths not only demonstrates a commitment to the local community but strongly communicates assurance of our long-term dedication to making Moss Point a connected, inclusive community and home for new companies and their employees,” said Moss Point Economic Development Director Sue Wright.
