Eighth grader Julyan Santee-Crowe has been playing football for 8 years. “I’m pretty sure I started playing for the Bay Saints when I was ve,” he recalls. After that, he joined the Hancock County Bulldogs. During his time with the team, they won the championship three years in a row. In his nal season with the Bulldogs, he received the team ball for being the most disciplined player. Now, at 13 going on 14, he hopes to be able to one day make his love of the sport into a career.
Santee-Crowe currently plays football and does track for the Hancock Hawks at Hancock Middle School. Athletics are his passion. When asked for his favorite things about the sports he currently plays, he says he loves the action they bring. While his love of football has existed since before he can even remember, he had to gure out his place in track. “I liked running, but I thought I wasn’t fast enough,” he says. “I ended up running track and I’ve found it fun ever since!”
He is currently looking forward to playing as a freshman football player when he enters high school next year. When asked about his future plans, Santee-Crowe hopes to one day be able to play football professionally. “I love football and would love to be able to play in the NFL one day.”
While his current future plans do involve sports, and he has hopes to one day play football professionally, he is currently focusing on his studies and plans on attending college after he graduates from high school.
