auren L. Timmons, DMD, has adapted the latest technology in his general dentistry practice much to the benefit of his patients. “A lot of my patients are wowed by the technology I have here,” Dr. Timmons said.
A native of McComb, he established Timmons Family & Cosmetic Dentistry 11 years ago in Ocean Springs because he wanted to return to his home state to be closer to family.

He was trained and made the investment in equipment so he can construct, produce and insert ceramic crowns and veneers in one office visit. “We can take a digital scan of the tooth and make the crown and veneers in-house and cement them on. It’s a two hour appointment. They are very translucent and natural looking,” Dr. Timmons said.
The crowns or veneers are made through computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing equipment he has in his laboratory. “Only about 10 percent of the dentists in the United States have this machine where you can make
