Celebrating IT Day
National IT Day is held annually in July, and Trop Greenville took advantage of the day to recognize their IT team. Team members received lunch and were presented with a gift card for their work at the property.

Thanking Those On Grave
Beau Rivage leadership thanked grave shift team members for their hard work by hosting a grave shift appreciation event in June in the employee dining room. Team members enjoyed an ice cream bar, games and prizes during the event, which is set to be a quarterly happening.
Golfing Fun
Hard Rock Biloxi employees and their guests took to the links for the property’s golf tournament. Employees enjoy this annual event where they can have some fun and participate in a friendly competition. The first- place team was comprised of Jason Monk, table games, and friends. Coming in second place was the guests services team of Tyrone Simmonds, Dakoata Champion and Brandon Rogers. And the table games team of Scott Quartermont, TP Pyron, Bill Maher and guest, came in third. A total of 16 teams competed in the June event.

View Casino Resorts chefs compete in area festivals
GULFPORT — Chefs from The View Casino Resorts’ restaurants participated in two recent Gulf Coast festivals. The chefs won a first-place award in the Beer & Bacon Festival and took home The People’s Choice award in the Gulf Coast Oyster Cook-off and Festival.
Cooking at the Beer & Bacon Festival, which had a chocolate category this year, were Jackie Seavey, executive sous chef; Deborah Thomas, room chef, The Diner; and Mary Moss, room chef, Prime Cut. The chefs won first in the Best in Chocolate competition for their chocolate-dipped bacon on a skewer.
At the 6th annual Oyster Festival, the View Casinos’ head chef and culinary team took home The People’s Choice
award for their oyster dish. The team included Executive Chef David Crabtree, Chef Seavey; Bobby McBride, sous chef, C&G Grille; Trey Cowan, banquet chef; Calvin Lipe, room chef, Dockside Deli; and Derek Flores and Mary Crabtree, volunteers.
The View’s oyster dish included three preparations: a Rockefeller puree with cilantro oil, micro greens, green apple relish, topped with paddlefish caviar in the raw category; a southwestern-style oyster with roasted poblano cream, Tex- Mex tomato jam and cotija cheese in the signature baked category; and in the chargrilled category a tasso and roasted garlic butter, Creole tomato glaze and Romano cheese.
“The View team opened, cooked and served over 2,200 oysters between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.,” Crabtree said. “We hardly had a

up the entire contest, but when I was able to, it seemed the line of guests was a mile long. All teams involved worked feverishly to feed the hungry crowd of oyster lovers.”
The View Casinos’ team took home The People’s Choice award at the annual Gulf Coast Oyster Festival.
