    Palace Casino Resort announces F&B promotions, hires
BILOXI — Palace Casino Resort announced several food and beverage new hires and promotions, including that of Scott Reedy, who has been promoted to food and beverage director.
Reedy has worked at the Biloxi property since 2004.
Tara Deters Landry, a Palace associate since March 2006, has been promoted to food and beverage manager. She has held numerous supervisor and manager positions in the F&B department.

Shelly Lofton named CFO at Hollywood, 1st Jackpot Tunica
TUNICA RESORTS — Hollywood Casino and 1st Jackpot Casino in Tunica recently announced the promotion of Shelly Lofton to CFO/multi- property vice president of finance. Additionally, Frankie Hamilton was welcomed as the casinos’ new financial controller.
Lofton has a diversified management career with experience in building top performing teams. Holding a bachelor’s and master’s degree, she has more than 20 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis and compliance.
She has worked for a variety of gaming companies, most recently as a financial controller for Hollywood and 1st Jackpot casinos in Tunica.

    Hamilton began his gaming career in 2015 at Hollywood Casino Toledo where he transitioned to lead revenue auditor.
He joined the Tunica team in 2018 as a revenue audit supervisor and rose to staff accountant in 2019 and accounting manager shortly thereafter.

GREENVILLE — Barrett DeFay joins Harlow’s Casino Resort & Spa as director of marketing.
He has more
than 23 years
of marketing
experience
from the Southwest and the Upper Midwest having worked at corporate and tribal properties over the years. He most recently comes from Magnolia Bluffs Casino & Hotel in Natchez, Mississippi.
“I am excited to join the team and am looking forward to contributing to the success of the team,” said DeFay.

 Purchasing director hired at Scarlet Pearl
 D’IBERVILLE — Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort announced the appointment of Larry Black
as director of purchasing. The casino industry veteran will oversee all purchasing, receiving, warehouse and inventory operations at the D’Iberville property.
Black has more than 20 years in the casino industry, having worked in different capacities
from finance to employee relations. He was most recently at Live! Casino & Hotel in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he held the position of director of purchasing.
Prior to Live!, Black was director of purchasing for Harrah’s Casino in Tunica, and director of purchasing and facilities at the Majestic Star Casino & Hotel in Gary, Indiana.
