 Harlow’s Casino Resort & Spa and its president and general manager recently received accolades. For the sixth consecutive year, the Greenville property was named Best of the Best by the Delta Democrat Times. And, Harlow’s President and General Manager Roscoe Greene was honored as the inaugural Businessman of the Year by the Washington County Economic Alliance. Greene received the award for his leadership at his place of business, as well as his commitment to the betterment of Washington County and its neighboring communities. Greene is pictured with the Best of the Best award.
Beau team receives top award
 BILOXI — Beau Rivage’s casino cage team was awarded the SHOW Service Excellence Award for the second quarter of 2023. The Service Excellence Award is part of the quarterly

The Biloxi cage team was recognized for implementing “You Said It, We Did It!” initiatives to create better experiences for guests and team members, increasing leadership effectiveness and employee engagement year-over-year, implementing more than 20 employee/manager ideas, and contributing to company cost-savings by reducing weekly overtime. The team also participated in numerous volunteer events.

 Slipper director named Athena Young Professional
 HANCOCK COUNTY — Silver Slipper Casino Hotel announced Director of Sales and Marketing Victoria Paz was named Athena Young Professional 2023 for East St. Tammany at the Athena Leadership Awards Luncheon in Slidell, Louisiana.
The Athena Leadership Award and the Athena Young Professional Leadership Award are presented annually in
countries around the globe by Chambers of Commerce, women’s organizations, universities, and more to an individual that demonstrates the qualities embodied in the Athena Leadership Model and has achieved the highest level of professional excellence, contributed time and energy
to improve the quality of life for others in their community, and have actively assisted others, particularly women, in realizing their full leadership potential.
Paz joined the Silver Slipper team in early 2009 as a retail clerk and was promoted to marketing administrator. In October 2010, she accepted the role of advertising and publicity manager, and in May 2019, Paz was promoted to director of sales and marketing, continuing her commitment to community involvement.

Paz is also a graduate of Leadership Hancock and Leadership Northshore. She was named a Community Quarterback by the New Orleans Saints in 2012 and one of the Northshore’s Forty Under 40 in 2020 by Northshore Media Group.
  IP Casino restaurant is ‘readers choice’
 BILOXI — For the sixth consecutive year, IP Casino Resort Spa’s thirty-two was recognized as a winner of the USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice awards for Best Casino Restaurant.
The AAA Four Diamond-rated restaurant was one of 20 nominees selected by 10Best editors and a panel of experts to be entered into the nationwide competition, with winners chosen solely by public voting. After four weeks of voting,
thirty-two was ranked top 10 among other casino restaurants in Las Vegas, New Jersey and elsewhere.
“We are excited to be nationally recognized once again by 10Best and USA TODAY,” said Vincent Schwartz, senior vice president of operations and general manager of IP. “We are happy to have held this honor since 2018, and thirty-two team members have continued to provide excellent service to our guests.”
