Sliver Slipper honors workers
HANCOCK COUNTY — Silver Slipper Casino Hotel named Employees and Supervisors/Managers of the Month for July and August. Luncheons were held in the Blue Bayou Bar & Grill to honor the nominees and winners.
In July, Tammie Bible, table games, was named front-of-house Employee of the Month, and Gwen Perrot, food and beverage, was named back-of-house Employee of the Month. Joey Amann, food and beverage, was named Manager of the Month.
Nominees included Jeff Haynes, transportation; Susan Garling, player services; Stephanie Olson, hotel;
Casey Jackson, food and beverage; and Timothy Lister, food and beverage.
And in August, the front-of-house
Employee of the Month was Bruce Lott,
security, and Julie Ivic, marketing, was
the back-of-house Employee of the Month.
Iris Willis, slots, was named Supervisor of the Month.

Nominees included Kathleen Spillman, table games; Charles Graves, finance; Donald Richard, food and beverage; Patricia Murry, retail; Janelle Foster, security; and Christen Berry, human resource.
Nominees and winners each received gifts and prizes, including cash and gift certificates.

IP Casino team members exhibit their ‘Boyd Style’
BILOXI — IP Casino Resort Spa recently honored several team members for exhibiting “Boyd Style,” a reference
to the property’s parent company, Boyd Gaming. Team Members of the Month for September were named along with Team Leaders of the Quarter for the third quarter.
Honorees, who were nominated by their fellow workers, included Ki “Min” Blanchard, table games; Caisus “CC” Codling, environmental services; Phillip Silvani, food and beverage; Randall Ball, Senses Spa and Salon; Yekuno Livingston, Bayview Café; and Laura Shoemake, B Connected marketing.
Manny Bradley, hotel housekeeping; Rosalind Collard, environmental services; and Steven Nguyen, Senses Spa and Salon, were named Team Leaders of the Quarter.
All winners received a cash prize, a recognition plaque, a special-edition name badge, a professional photo and additional prizes, including dining and parking specials and a logo’d jacket.
