New honor program at Harrah’s
BILOXI — Harrah’s Gulf Coast launched a new Team Member of the Month
program in July. Being
awarded Team Member
of the Month is one of the highest honors that Harrah’s employees can now receive.
Winners were
nominated by fellow
team members and
property leadership for
their accomplishments
during the month as they
demonstrated the “Values
of Blaze the Trail,” “All In on Service,” and “Together We Win Each Day.”
The first recipients of the new awards were Ashley Taft, hospitality, who was named Supervisor of the Month for July,
and Cynthia
Casey,
human
resources,
who was
named Team
Member of
the Month
for July.
Doniver
Thompson,
slot tech, was named Team Member of the Month for August, and Tony Vo, facilities supervisor, was August Supervisor of the Month.

Riverwalk Casino Hotel recently named its Happy Heroes for the third quarter of the year. The Supervisor of the Quarter for the third quarter was also honored. Charles Holmes, slot tech, and Robert Green, lead EVS attendant, received the accolades for July. For August, Clay Jordan, facilities, and John Johnson, security officer, received awards. Pearls of the Property
Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort recently named Jeremy Egan, valet attendant, Associate of the Month for August, while Khac Thanh Nguyen, cook, was named Associate of the Month for September. Additionally, Derron Robinson, EVS supervisor, was honored as Supervisor of the Quarter. They each received a number of prizes.

Tops at Trop Casino
Trop Casino Greenville recently honored
its Team Members of the Quarter. Marcus McNeil (left), cook, received the award for back of house, while Dottie Jones
(center), human resources generalist, received the award for front of house. They each received $275, a Star tote bag, trophy and a parking space for the quarter. Jammal Marsalis, slot supervisor, was named Supervisor of the Quarter, and received $325, a Star tote bag, trophy and a parking space for the quarter.
