INTRODUCTORY STATEMENT
The TMCF Team Manual was designed to acquaint you with TMCF. It will also provide information about
the working conditions, team member benefits, responsibilities and personnel policies affecting your employment. It is your responsibility to read, understand and comply with all provisions contained in this document. It describes many of your responsibilities as a team member and outlines the programs developed by TMCF to benefit team members.
One of our objectives is to provide a work environment that is conducive to both personal and professional growth. This team manual cannot anticipate every circumstance or question about policy. There are practices, policies, procedures and general information that cannot be completely covered in this manual. If the manual does not supply all the information you need, please make your questions known to your supervisor or Human Resources.
TMCF does reserve the right to interpret, amend, modify or cancel and withdraw any or all sections or provisions of this manual at any time without notice. The provisions supersede all existing policies and practices and may not be amended or added to without the express written approval of the president and CEO. Nothing in this manual is intended to create an employment relationship of any definite duration or to guarantee any particular benefits, including severance if employment is terminated. Nothing in this manual should be interpreted as a waiver by TMCF of its rights to terminate any team member at any time, with or without cause or notice. Although TMCF believes wholeheartedly in the guidelines described here, they are not a contract of employment.
TEAM MEMBER AND EMPLOYER RELATIONS
TMCF’s goal is to provide a premier work environment in which its working conditions and benefits are better than those offered by other employers in this area and in this industry. If team members have concerns about any of these things, they are strongly encouraged to voice these concerns openly and directly to their supervisor.
Our experience has shown that when team members deal openly and directly with their supervisor, the work environment is one of trust and openness, communication is clear and attitudes are more positive. We believe that TMCF amply demonstrates its commitment to team members by responding effectively to team member concerns.
In an effort to maintain direct employer/team member relations, we will hold regular full team meetings where open communication is encouraged and welcomed.
