TEAM MEMBER BENEFITS
TMCF has established a variety of team member benefit programs. This
portion of the team member manual contains a very general description
of the benefits for which TMCF team members may be eligible. Please
understand that this general explanation is not intended to and does not
provide all the details of these benefits. Therefore, this manual does not
change or otherwise interpret the terms of the official plan documents. A
team member’s rights, if any, can be determined only by referring to the
full text of the official plan documents, which are available from the human
resources department. To the extent that any of the information contained
in this manual is inconsistent with the official plan documents, the provisions of the official documents will govern in all cases.
As in the past, TMCF reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to amend, modify or terminate, in whole or in part, any or all the provisions of the benefit plans described herein, including any health benefits that may be extended to retirees and their dependents. Furthermore, TMCF reserves the exclusive right, power and authority, in its sole and absolute discretion, to administer, apply and interpret the benefit plans described herein, and to decide all matters arising in connection with the operation or administration of such plans. MEDICAL AND DENTAL INSURANCE
TMCF currently offers regular full-time team members medical and dental coverage on the first day of employment. Team members will be permitted to make medical and dental plan elections at that time. Team members may make changes to their elections during TMCF’s designated open enrollment period near the end
of each calendar year and under certain circumstances, may be able to make changes mid-year. Team members should contact the human resources department for further information. Employees also have the option of calling the contact center with Insperity for benefits related questions.
FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNT, DEPENDENT CARE ACCOUNT, HEALTH SAVINGS ACCOUNT
TMCF currently offers a team member-funded flexible spending account (FSA) for regular full-time team members who are employed as of Jan. 1 of a calendar year. Just before the beginning of the calendar year, plan participants may elect an annual amount of flexible dollars (which will be deducted pro rata on a pre-tax basis from each paycheck) to pay for eligible healthcare expenses. Any unused funds that remain at the end of the plan year are forfeited.
A dependent care account allows team members to cover certain dependent and elder care expenses. Like an FSA, any unused funds that remain at the end of the plan year are forfeited.
