Who or what inspired you to pursue your current career? I knew I always wanted to be involved in the fashion industry, I just didn’t know how to make an impact until my husband suggested opening my own store.
What I like best about what I do is: I love encouraging women to embrace their best qualities through fashion. When you love your outfit, you tend to love yourself.
What moment from your life made the biggest impact on your career? Moving to New York definitely played a critical role in my life. It allowed me to explore parts of myself and the world I never thought I needed. It opened my eyes to different cultures, styles, and experiences that allow me to integrate unique characteristics into Tribe!

Michelle Sekul’s passion for celebrations can be seen in each and every décor element she creates. “It’s all about creating the perfect vibe,” she says. “I thrive on collaborating with my clients to bring their visions to life, ensuring every detail contributes to a memorable experience.”
Also serving as the Dean of Students at MGCCC, finding time to spend with her family is of the utmost importance. “My balloon business supports our family’s enjoyment and helps fund fun activities. I make
an effort to involve my husband, Jesse Kanode, and our son, George, whenever possible.
The family recently welcomed a new member, Vegas, a rescue kitten they adopted in December.
