Amanda Scorsone, FNP
Amanda Scorsone currently lives in Ocean Springs with her husband, stepson, and a mini farm of animals (chickens, pigs, ducks, turkeys). She is originally from Sacramento and after high school she was in the Navy for four years. She graduated from Colorado State University-Pueblo with both a Bachelor’s in Science in Nursing and a Master’s in Science in Nursing with an emphasis in both Family Nurse Practitioner and Adult-Gerontology Acute Care in 2017.
She has worked as an FNP for the State Health Department, primary care, and now at AlphaCare Urgent Care where she has enjoyed providing healthcare to the community she calls home. In her free time, she enjoys boating, cookouts with family and friends, the gym, and dancing with the Southernettes.
Michele Fontenelle Mcleod, FNP
Michelle Fontenelle Mcleod is a native of Biloxi, Mississippi. In 1979 she graduated from Sacred Heart Academy all girls school. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from the University
of Southern Mississippi and Master’s degree in Science in Nursing with a national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner from
the University of South Alabama in 1997. She has been practicing nursing for 40 years with 25 years as a nurse practitioner.
She has been with AlphaCare Urgent care since it’s establishment in 2018, and has helped shape the organization and served as a pillar
of quality care and service to their patients. She is proud of the AlphaCare culture and considers it an honor to be a part of a company that is committed to serving the community as she is.
