Who or what inspired you to pursue your current career?
My inspiration is, and has always been, to build a better life for my children. I love helping others and new home construction. I have always loved the meaning of “home” and home design. When the chance came for me in 2017 to be a New Home Sales Agent for Adams Homes, I knew it would be an excellent opportunity for me. I’ve worked very hard, I love what I do, and love
all the people I have helped along the way. In 2019,
I obtained my Brokers license and was promoted to Broker and Sales Manager for the Mississippi Gulf Coast Division. Since then, I have managed and built
a wonderful team of Agents, who I help coach, inspire, and problem solve with. It brings me such joy to watch them succeed!

Who or what inspired you to pursue your current career? The day my mom passed away changed my mindset of what I wanted to do in my career. I was my mom’s caregiver, and I was very much involved in my community all while working a full time corporate job. But, I wasn’t doing something I was passionate about. I needed to find a way that my career put me in my community, because being in my community made me happy and fulfilled.
What I like best about what I do is: Hearing stories of survivorship and being able to engage my community. I work to make a difference in the battle against cancer, but when I get to meet new people and hear their personal stories, it humbles me and reminds me this is truly why I do what I do, because it’s making a difference for someone.
It’s important to support other woman-owned businesses because: There is economic empowerment and growth in woman-owned businesses that directly impact community economic growth. By supporting these business, you are bridging the gap in the disparities we see against woman-owned businesses and recognizing the business savvy these women bring to the table.
