Who or what inspired you
to pursue your current career? I was inspired to own my own business after working and managing many different boutiques all over the country. Being able to own my own boutique in such a quaint coastal town is a dream come true!
What I like best about what I do is: Helping each and everyone who walks through my door find the perfect shoe to fit their lifestyle and wardrobe!
What’s something interesting about you that not many people know? I taught the Sears Model’s Club In the ‘90’s.

Who or what inspired you to pursue your current career? Being in the hospitality industry,
I spent a lot of time entertaining clients and developed a passion for fine foods, wines and spirits. When I made the decision to open my own business, I pursued the very thing I had the knowledge and enthusiasm to turn into a successful business.
What I like best about what
I do is: My customers and the ability to make a difference in my community through donations and involvement in local civic organizations.
Advice I would give to young female entrepreneurs: Get involved in your community! The more you give, the more you will receive in customer loyalty.

What I like best about what I do is: I love trying new techniques to achieve my guests’ goals. I aim to create something that suits both appearance and personality. Helping people feel good through healthy and beautiful hair is the best part of my job.
What’s something interesting about you that not many people know? I have a passion for historical hairdressing methods. It began with the roller sets of the 1950s and ‘60s and spiraled from there. I love to look at centuries-old portraits of women and try to understand the processes of achieving such intricate hairstyles.
What moment from your life made the biggest impact on your career? The moment most impactful on my
career happened when I was awarded Outstanding Major in Management at University of South Alabama. I realized I was more capable of managing a business than I thought. Without that confidence, I might not have opened my own salon.
