What I like best about what I do is: I love people. Helping them and making them happy ful lls me. It’s a wonderful feeling to hand someone a gift wrapped “Poppy’s Style” and watch them light up.
Advice I would give to young female entrepreneurs: Be honest and truthful. Do what you love and love what you do, and always have faith in your choices. Pray for guidance daily.
What’s something interesting about you that not many people know? I rescue animals, all of which have been born or dropped o at the boat launch next to my home. I have xed and relocated most of 39 kittens. Of course, some had to stay and call my home theirs.

What I like best about what I do is: Connections with co-workers and owners. I love helping people understand the medical needs of their pets.
Advice I would give to young female entrepreneurs: I worked part time for 10 years while my kids were babies
to try and have the best of both worlds. I now have the opportunity to pursue my career goals. I believe waiting has helped me to be a better business owner and mother.

Who or what inspired you to pursue your current career? My love of travel combined with the need for such a business in our town in uenced the decision to open a golf cart rental business. What better way to see all that Downtown Ocean Springs has to o er? The passing of the ordinance allowing them on public roads helped too, of course.
What I like best about what I do is: On a golf cart, our customers are able to get around easier and explore more of the town. I get to see people enjoying themselves every single day as well as see the positive impact we have on our community and other businesses.
Advice I would give to young female entrepreneurs: Always be open to advice but don’t let the naysayers discourage you. Not everyone will be your top fan and that’s okay.
