Who or what inspired you to start your career: I have always wanted to own my own business, I wanted something that was mine. I wanted to challenge myself and prove to myself that I could do it. When I found out about what I do now, I was obsessed. It’s fun, creative and I’m passionate about my products. I believe in them and what they do for people. I’m a huge people person so I have enjoyed building relationships with my community.
What I like best about what I do is: Helping people live a healthier lifestyle all while building new friendships.
Advice I would give to young female entrepreneurs: Just go for it. Your biggest competitor is always yourself.
My greatest successes have been: My family. I’m married to the best man and we have two beautiful little boys.
What’s something interesting about you that others don’t know: I was a waitress for 10 years at a local pizza restaurant. I loved it. I met some of the best people and built some great friendships that i still have today.
What are some of your favorite things to do on the Coast? My favorite restaurant is Mary Mahoney’s. It was my and my husband’s rst date and it’s our go-to spot. Some of my favorite things to do are going on the boat, having girls nights with my friends, spending days with my boys and church on Sunday mornings.
What moment from your life made the biggest impact on your career:
When I met my husband because honestly I’ve always been intimidated by him. I was a waitress when we met and he was a doctor. He has always been so successful with his career and I’ve always looked up to him. He pushes me to want to be better.
