Donna Stewart is a graduate of Moss Point High School and William Carey College, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and History. In 1996, she earned a Juris Doctorate from The University of Mississippi School of Law. She currently serves as Chief Operations O cer at United Way for Jackson & George Counties. She is also founder and coordinator of United Way’s Mental Health Coalition. Donna has received Excellence in Action (EIA) certi cation in nonpro t management from the Mississippi Center for Nonpro ts.
What I like best about what I do is: Every day I am empowered to help others. There’s no better feeling than knowing that, in some small way, I’ve been able to show the love of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
What’s something interesting about you that not many people know? I was adopted by my parents when I was just three days old. I am living proof that DNA isn’t the only way that families are created.
I will forever be grateful to my birth parents for giving me life and the opportunity to be parented by my amazing adoptive mother and father.
