Melissa Fischer was born and raised in Long Beach. She has been married to her husband, Randy, for 25 wonderful years, and together they have two daughters and two granddaughters. Fischer has always had artistic talents. Most of her early artistry was through drawing, painting, crafting and sewing. It wasn’t until her late 30s that she discovered her talent of cake artistry.
From the early days of decorating cakes,
a dream was planted in her heart. She longed for a bakery of her own. After overcoming a battle with cancer, she set forth on that path. Finally, she opened
her very own bakery: Melissa’s Bakery. Fischer prides herself in the reputation that Melissa’s Bakery has established and thanks each and every one of her customers for their loyal support throughout the years.
