CURVY GIRLStyle story by Kelsey Sunderman-Foster photos by Christy Ryan
There are no rules when it comes to fashion, and the same can be said about curvy styles. The guidelines for plus size clothing are totally irrelevant these days as women of all shapes and sizes embrace their curves and discover their personal style. Bye bye black, hello horizontal stripes!
Crystal Cagle, owner of Moxie Shop Curvy Apparel & Accessories in Ocean Springs, has made it her mission to make trendy clothing accessible to plus size women across the country. Through her online store and brick and mortar location, she had helped hundreds of women break out of their fashion “bubbles” and nd their con dence through clothing.
Work
“When it comes to workwear, choose a dressier material but don’t feel like you can’t still have fun with it. These structured pants are muted in color and not too bold, but the stripes and animal print accent give them some personality.”

“Denim with a trendy button y is always a good choice! Add a front tuck or side tuck to accentuate the waist and elongate your body. We’ve all been taught to stay away from horizontal stripes, but there are no rules! If you like it, wear it.”
Casual
“Anyone can pull o a bold pattern! This design is fun and funky, and you’re sure to feel con dent wearing it. Styles like this are great because they cinch in at the smallest part of the waist and are attering on any body type.”
