OCEAN SPRINGS LUMBER & SUPPLY

Although it’s generally a man’s world, OS Lumber & Supply has strong female in uences. Back in the 1930s when few jobs were available for women, Marion Illing Moran kept the books for the emerging lumber company. As the company
has grown, so has its female population. Thirty-three years
ago, Celeste Glenn joined the team. She laughs when she talks about the nostalgia of seeing the books Moran kept.
In 1998, OS Lumber moved from its original location to its current site at 1611 Government St. That move allowed expansion and, ultimately, the addition of six more women. If
you visit OS Lumber & Supply, you are likely to meet some of them.
Come by and see Amanda
or Dominoe, play in the new KraftMaid Design Studio, or
get some advice from Holly about those windows and doors you’ve been eye-balling. If you’re one of those crafty folks,
have Tracy show you where your supplies are. Oh, and if you want an account, Melinda will be happy to help.
We have always believed in relationships and we’re thankful for all the men and women who have helped us grow for more than 90 years.
