My greatest business strengths are:
The ability to adapt to any situation
and surrounding. Being thrown into 3 rough situations: wiped out by Hurricane Katrina, then struggled during economy crash and BP oil spill, once I adapted and did what needed to be done to keep my businesses going, I gained a strength in knowing I could get through anything life threw at me (natural or man made)! As for surroundings, being a lover of
all events that help us to live our lives to their fullest, I nd it very easy to enjoy every atmosphere from a dive bar to an upscale charity event and everything in between.
In ve years I would like to see my business: Having just celebrated 20 years in business, I would love for my publications to continue to be some of the leading entertainment publications on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. I would also like to see our Krewe of Salacia grow to be an outstanding representation of the
ladies of our Mississippi Gulf Coast, not only during mardi gras season, but all throughout the year as we work to give back to our community.
The best advice I’ve ever received:
Stay true to yourself and never let anyone tell you that you can’t do something! You can do anything you put your mind to as long as you work hard, give it your all, and are kind and thoughtful to others! “Succeed or fail, you can never fail yourself as long as you gave it your all!”
I chose this particular business because: They say to take what you’re
good at and learn how to pro t from
it, and that is so true! I was great at living life to the fullest and hosting special events. Now I’m able to give our locals and visitors a broad range of fun and excitement so they can enjoy our beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast in its entirety!
