My Business: Dedication to patient service and family dentistry, along with commitment to community involvement are the main components of Dr. Kinyatta Bennett’s philosophy for Healthy Smiles Family Dentistry. She is devoted to carrying on the dream shared by her late husband and partner, Dr. Christopher Bennett, after their graduation from the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry.
With a lot of love and hard work, that dream was realized with the opening of Healthy Smiles Family Dentistry in June 2015 in a Gulfport area where Dr. Bennett had practiced for five years. Dr. Bennett and her staff are dedicated to serving the dental needs of the whole family. There’s a children’s game room for fun while waiting, and the extended hours ensure that families — as well as others — can have appointments
at convenient times that fit their schedules. As the mother of three children — Laura-Jae, age 16, Briana, age 15 and Christopher Bennett II, age 8 — Dr. Bennett understands busy schedules. Her children are her inspiration in every step that she makes.
In her free time, Dr. Bennett enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and volunteering. She has a passion for mentoring

youth, volunteering, and giving back to the community. In August 2017, Dr. Bennett founded the annual Dr. Christopher Bennett School Supply Give Away in memory of her late husband. Since then they have been blessed to give away over 800 book bags with school supplies.
Born and raised on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Dr. Bennett graduated from Harrison Central High School in 2001. She then attended Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College
and graduated from the University
of Southern Mississippi where she majored in biological sciences with a minor in chemistry.
Professional affiliations include the National Dental Association, American Dental Association, Mississippi Dental Society and Mississippi Dental Association.
