We invite you to come and enjoy the services of Healing Garden Therapies. A spa can be
a well-earned luxury, but it’s also much more. There are benefits of massage therapy and facials for everyone, and that’s the reason we love this business.
Massage Therapy is defined as the manipulation of the soft tissues of the body. It’s done with knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology of the structures, which are applied in a scientific manner for therapeutic results. Massage is an ancient healing art based on the natural instinct to touch in response to pain and is found in all cultures as an integral part of health care.
Some Benefits of massage include:
• Relieves mental and physical fatigue
• Improves circulation and general body tone
• Enhances the mobility of joints
• Supports general health and well-
being
• Beneficial for lower back pain,
arthritis, and bursitis
• Relieves stress and tension
Well-trained and licensed massage therapists employ their hands as finely tuned, powerful tools to promote wellness. More and more people are discovering the profound benefits available through regular body work.
Healing Garden Therapies, LLC was opened in 2001 by Peggy and Frank Baker, who moved the business to Norwood Village Shopping Center a month before Hurricane Katrina.
“I started working here in 2010 and completely fell in love with the business,” said Rachelle Saucier. “I love seeing the difference it makes for people. We are currently blessed with seven massage therapists and two estheticians who are trained in a variety of different services that can be customized for our clients’ individual needs.”
People often ask who Healing Garden’s best therapist is. “They’re all great at what they do, but we find the therapist who’s perfect for your needs,” Saucier said. “I think that’s why Healing Gardens has done so well. We have a variety of different people who have been trained in different services. We’re not afraid to say we don’t know something, but that another person here does. We all learn from each other and love what we do.”
