pool and multiple restaurants. In addition to the non- gaming amenities, the casino is home to more than 1,350 slots, 45 table games, including Blackjack, Craps and Roulette, and a 10-table Poker Room. Though
the Scarlet Pearl has been a great supplement to the Coast’s flourishing casino industry, it is truly the gem of D’Iberville.
Along with these new developments came the exciting new D’Iberville Historic Town Green & Visitor’s Center. The center was partially funded by the Mississippi Development Authority through the Housing and Urban Development Block Grant, and consists of 2,500 square feet of indoor space with a full wrap-around patio. The center serves as both a visitor’s center and museum and is able to be rented for special events and city functions.
The town green has already hosted numerous events within the city of D’Iberville, including the Taste of
the Bay in April of this year in a partnership with St. Martin. The event allowed local vendors to showcase their culinary skills and gave attendees the opportunity to try something new.
The city of D’Iberville also hosts the D’Iberville BBQ Throwdown & Festival at the D’Iberville Civic Center. The event features not only a barbeque competition, but includes a festival with music and crafts. The 11th annual event is coming up on March 4, of next year.
