I wanted control back over my life, and I knew that my weight gain was a major issue that affected every aspect of my life and happiness. It was time for a change.
she said. “I no longer drink soda, eat pork, bread, pasta, candy or junk food. I also drink a lot of water and do my best to work out at least three times a week.”
The experience with surgical weight loss brought forth not only physical change, but emotional change as well. “I look at life completely differently now,” Walley remarked. “I have a second chance at living a healthier life and making better decisions.”
After receiving the surgery, Walley has lost a total of 95 pounds. Her advice to anyone considering surgical weight loss is to make the choice to put your health and happiness first.
“I see the importance of health and how creating a healthier lifestyle can increase the quality of life,” she said. “I’m not afraid of living anymore.”
