Salon Rouge Perfects the Soft and Airy Bridal Style

The hair styles brides are requesting for their big day have changed, and Amber Lord and the other stylists at Salon Rouge are giving them what they want.
“Brides these days are definitely about the loose and simplistic styles. Even if they are wanting an all the way up style, it’s still very soft and airy,” Lord, who opened Salon Rouge in 2008, said. “Other wedding services we offer include makeup and airbrush spray tanning to give them a beautiful natural glow.”
The salon owner offers advice to brides. “I tell all my brides, as for choosing to keep your hair down or up, stick to what you wear on a daily basis,” she said. “If you wear your hair down in your everyday life, you may want to think twice about wearing your hair up on your wedding day. If you wear your hair up a lot, you might feel more comfortable wearing a style that’s up. Whatever it is, do what makes you feel comfortable and beautiful.”
Salon Rouge offers all hair coloring services including balayage, highlights, baby lights, vivid colors, and more. “We also specialize in multiple hair extension methods including hand-tied, beaded, tape-ins and keratin fusion; also eyelash extensions, eyebrow micro blading, Brazilian blowouts, makeup and airbrush spray tanning,” Lord added.
For 2022, this stylist is still seeing the loose and simplistic styles but also sees brides leaning towards a more boho feel. “For hairstyles, this translates into effortless down and half way looks that incorporates soft braids and beach waves instead of uniform curls,” she said. “We are also seeing hair accessories come back strong. Hair accessories are good for all types and lengths. This year, whether a bride is wanting
a bohemian dainty floral piece or a blingy, bold piece, you can’t go wrong.”
Lord says she and her team strive and train to be the best at what they do, staying up to date on all the latest trends and providing every client with a relaxing, fun and inviting atmosphere. “This is not just a job for us, this is our passion. We are grateful to do what we love and glam our beautiful clients all over the Gulf Coast.”
