REJUVENATION VISION FOR 2020

Moving at a rapid pace, the City of Moss Point’s Rejuvenation Plan has begun to put the city on the forefront of the Mississippi Gulf Coast’s growing economic development. The 2020 Vision Campaign for Rejuvenating Moss Point includes five key components: community engagement, education, health and safety, economic development, and accountability. From new business to developmental aid, Mayor Mario King’s vision has officially been enacted.
The theme of Rejuvenate Moss Point has received national attention and has become the foundation for positive development efforts. Moss Point’s main highway dealership mecca is growing to include Bob Boyte Honda. In addition, Governor Phil Bryant’s $3 million award to aid in the development includes connector roads, traffic improvements, and much more. The city is seeing growth in not only its economy, but its education system, property value, and recreation, in particular through the new Rejuvenation Station, a health and wellness facility developed entirely with community support and grants.
