The Copelands served as their
own designers and contractors. “When you go from 3,800 square feet to 1,200, you have to utilize every bit of space,” Robin said. “I had
a bit of a break down at first, but we’ve become good at whittling things down.”
Al, a former marine who now works in government service and anticipates retiring in three years, added, “We bought locally as much as we could because we love this little town.”
