  The Mississippi Gaming & Hospitality Association held two events in 2023 bringing together casino executives, community leaders and industry associates. At Beau Rivage in Biloxi, four individuals who have made significant contributions to the growth and development of the industry were inducted into the Mississippi Gaming Hall of Fame in June, and in October, the inaugural Casino Cup
Golf Tournament took place at the Tunica National Golf & Tennis Center.
Inducted into the Gaming Hall of Fame for 2023 were Chevis Swetman, president of The Peoples Bank; the Engelstad Family Foundation; former state representative Bobby Moak; and former Governor Haley Barbour. While there was no theme for the evening of celebration,
