   Live With Grayson
WJTV’s Walt Grayson visited Natchez in May for several live broadcasts. Among those interviewed by Grayson was Willie Manor (left), director of operations at Magnolia Bluffs Casino Hotel. The two spoke about the importance of Magnolia Bluffs’ involvement with tourism and community volunteerism in Natchez. Visit Natchez encouraged community members to show up for the taping, and Magnolia Bluffs team members did just that.

Two Mississippi casinos ride in Tour de Bally’s
MISSISSIPPI — Bally’s Corporation, parent company for Hard Rock Biloxi and Bally’s Vicksburg, hosted a Tour de Bally’s event in July coinciding with the Tour de France. All Bally’s properties throughout the enterprise were challenged to bike all month long in an effort to encourage a healthy dose of movement, friendly competition, and team spirit.
Employees pedaled away the miles on their own bikes and on in-house bicycles they used during breaks and before and after work. At the end of the month, Bally’s Vicksburg had cycled their way to first place with a total of 3,631.3 miles. Hard Rock Biloxi came in third place with 1,227.9 miles. Both properties are under the leadership of Todd Raziano, regional vice president and general manager.
At the Vicksburg property, the top five riders were Jennifer Curro, Lamar Jackson, Mickey Fedell, Latoya Moore and General Manager Derrius Morris. Tarzan Treadway, director of slots, was the top cyclist at the Biloxi property.
Bally’s Vicksburg received $10,000 for the charity of their choice. They donated the prize money to Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi.
